There are a lot of reprinted posters of The Beatles artworks, such as album covers and promotional posters. It is lovely thing for you and me, The Beatles fans, to put the reprints of our favorite album cover on our wall. For the artworks of The Beatles are visually sophisticated well designed, the posters also can be great interiors fit to your room.

As you know, each album cover has interesting episodes, stories and concepts, reflecting their artistic approach and philosophy. With a little help from talented photographers and producers of that age, their visual artwork itself became art, one of the essential keys to understand charm of The Beatles.

Features

Abbey Road

Famous album cover photo taken by Iain Macmillan.
Apart from its music, this artwork is self-standing. The scene described in the photograph seemingly looks as it were ordinaries of life, but it is surrealistic and unreal (Paul is walking barefoot). That is quite an experimental and artistic approach, creating extraordinary atmosphere at a ordinary location.

Yellow Submarine

A beautiful flood of brilliant colors. This is an apotheosis of psychedelic art, created by Heinz Edelmann. It describes imaginary, fairy-tale floating world, in which every elements are drew with curved lines. It is interesting that, Edelmann seemed to have rejected technique of Western Art intentionally and adopted context of Middle East and Eastern Art.

Rubber Soul

The waving lettering is impressive, which typographical design remembers us the early psychedelic movement in art. As the album was the beginning of psychedelic Beatles, its artwork followed the concept. It was also the time when they began seriously seeking more sophisticated art of music composing and performance.

Let It Be

Needless to say, this is a famous album cover of “Let It Be”, which is regarded as their last album. The album has an air of sadness and separation, for it was the record of their effort for recovery and failure. The artwork contains four photographs of each member, and any group shot has no chance to appear any more.
